Folks, you can't even imagine how excited I was to be at my first blogger conference! I felt like a kid. There was so many people to meet and sponsors to meet and workshops to attend. I liked the idea of the bloggers lounge. Great place for so many of us to connect. The Intercontinental Hotel I was staying at was connected to the WTCC and TBEX Conference. Unfortunately for me, it was so far away and since I do have long distance mobility issues, I rented an electric cart, thanks to the Concierge Callum (see previous post).
We were fed breakfast and lunch. The food was really delicious and plentiful. I met wonderful people and sponsors, some whom I still talk to today. I guess it really making friends for life.
I took pictures of all the Sponsors so you can see the incredible Sponsor Board. I couldn't make the Friday night event where I heard Serena Rider came and sang. That was a big loss to me! I was exhausted from all the walking, that I couldn't make the sponsored event by Expedia. They were giving away lots of travel packages, boo hoo! Next time I will be sure to have a cart rented and I won't miss a single event.
You bloggers, if you can come out to the next or another TBEX Conference, then do it! The next one is in Dublin, Ireland. This year in Dublin in August, there will be a Gathering of the Red Heads. I wish I could go as they say the red hair gene is dying out and this may be the last Gathering.
