My many adventures

Hi Folks, I want to dedicate this first part to all the Houston people and now the Florida folks who were and are in the path of dangerous hurricanes. I pray for you, your family and your pets to get through this terrible time in your life. Some countries all around the world are facing flooding, mud slides and war, please send help, relief and prayers their way.

I survived breast cancer, to travel around the world to some of the many places I've always wanted to go. There are lots more places I still want to visit.

I've been to Scotland, England, Vancouver, Victoria BC, an Alaskan cruise, Yukon, Alaska (Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway), a fab Mediterranean cruise which took us to Barcelona, the Vatican & Rome, the island of Crete, Izmir & Sulcuk, Ephesus Turkey, Egypt and Malta. I have been to Las Vegas, Hollywood LA, Cabo San Lucas, Orlando, Daytona Beach, Tampa, a Disney Cruise to Bahamas and Disney's Castaway Cay island, all over Canada and Hawaii and Pearl Harbour. We can add Cozumel, Costa Maya, Mexico, Belize City and Honduras. What a fabulous way to see the world!
Take the time to do the things you want to do because life is too short and if you wait until you can afford it, you'll likely never go. So get your plans ready and pick a place and start booking your trip. It is so worth it.
Thanks for dropping by. I have lots of posts to put up so stay tuned...

BLOG POST OF THE MONTH: September 7, 2017

Hi Folks! My daughter and her new husband have been married one year. WOW that went fast. Was invited to Toronto in July to receive an Honorary Membership award from my union PSAC/USGE. They even brought my grandson up with me. We visited Niagara Falls, CN Tower and went to Medieval Knights dinner theatre. We had such a fabulous time!

I still have a great deal of travel posts to put up. I want our vacations and travel to be shared with you all. I'm not sure of what our travel plans will be for 2017, but for 2016, I rested all the time. Retirement is so awesome!! I was able to take pictures of the summer's Totally Eclipse of the Moom, which I'll share with you here on a post. It was incredible for sure.
I just love summer! I hope the winter will be gentle to us.

Still trying to find my ancesters with the Foran/Forhan name. Apparently two brothers came over from Dublin, one was name Edward who had a son named Edward born in Prince Edward Island and he had a son named William who had my father. I love doing ancestry but it is very frustrating when you can get no further without the "parents" names.

I have so many posts to write about so please keep patience with me. I received a great posting from SiteHoundSniffs.com which looks to be a great animal site. Hope you enjoy it.

My granddaughter Layla moved back in so now the family is together again for a while. She is a musician and is going to Community College for a Certificate in Music Finance. She also wants to cook for a living because she just loves food and boy can she cook. I wanted to help her to go to Culinary School but we will have to wait to see when she finally makes up her mind.

My little guy Rialey is now 14 and is 6'1 1/2 ". He is so thoughtful of me and helps me a lot.

I really wanted to travel this year but since retirement, the money is too tight. I'll have to save up but I have all those beautiful memories to keep me smiling for now. Thankfully I have posted most here on my blod.

Take care my blogger friends.

Thanks friends,

Debbie

SimplyRoam - Global internet on one roaming Sim card at revolutionary prices

Hi folks.

I am working with the SimplyRoam company to bring you an amazing deal for your cell phones when travelling.  You can even get a 35% discount when you use my discount code DEB35.

Yes, I couldn't believe it but it's true.  I wish I had this when I was in Florida two weeks ago.  I would have brought my cell phone with me and I really needed it.  My little guy Rialey got very sick with asthma then I got an allergy reaction to the sun on my face.  I like to travel with my cell phone but because it is a work phone, I don't use it when on vacation.  Now with this new SimplyRoam, I can safely bring my cell phone with me when I travel for my own events and adventures.

Here is how it works:

SimplyRoam - Global internet on one roaming Sim card at revolutionary prices

·         Up to 98% cheaper than telecom  networks!
·         Works in all iPhones, iPads, BlackBerrys, Samsungs, MiFi’s and more
·         For internet use: surf the web and use Email, Facebook, Skype and Whatsapp
·         Prepaid - no contract – and no bill-shock
·         35% discount with discount code DEB35

Although once we may have survived without the internet, that seems an awful long time ago. It is simply part of our lives, and that means we can’t bear to live without it, even when we are travelling. You can stay connected and online with a SimplyRoam global data SIM card worth $19.99, which is now down to $12.99. Now keep your phone on and surf the net abroad with this revolutionary global data SIM card.

It’s simple by name, and simple by nature to use this data SIM. All you have to do is choose the right size SIM for your unlocked or SIM free phone, and then top it up using one of SimplyRoam’s pre pay bundles from their 3 special cheap zones. Your choices are Europe, Business Traveller (includes Europe plus USA, Canada and others), and Global (over 95 countries).

Rates are priced at only $0.09 / MB travelling to Europe, $0.12 for Business Traveller zone and up to $0.36 / MB for Globetrotter (ROW) which is far cheaper than using your own sim - just remember this is internet only, so no calls or texts allowed, but you will be able to log on to Skype and Whatsapp. Whether you are travelling for work or pleasure, this is the affordable and innovative solution you need to use the internet abroad, finally putting you in complete control!

How does it work?
1.            You buy your SimplyRoam sim from http://www.ritesim.com/simplyroam using DEB35 discount code
2.            Visit www.SimplyRoam.com to top it up before you go away
3.            Choose the zone you are travelling to (the world is split into 3 zones…1) Europe, 2) Business Traveller & 3) Global
4.            Select a 30-day data bundle (100MB, 200MB, 500MB or 1GB data bundle)
5.            Make payment and your sim is topped up instantly
6.            Happy surfing!

Important notes: Your phone or device must be unlocked to use this sim, and this sim is for Internet use only. You can make calls/texts by using apps such as Skype and Whatsapp.

So to keep in touch with friends, upload travel snaps to social media, or keep up with work, I really would recommend the SimplyRoam SIM.

I hope you discover new ways of communicating with this SimplyRoam opportunity.  I would like to hear from those of you who purchase this Global data SIM card.

Thanks for taking the time to drop by.
