Have you ever woken up one morning and asked yourself, what and where am I going in this life? Or why is my life like this? I did and do.
I have faced many challenges over my life. Many challenges have put me to the test, my cancer travel, my health deteration throughtout my entire body. Bringing up two grandchildren who face mulitiply challenges themselves. The heavy rains recently again flooded my basement and everything is ruined. Insurance won't cover it unless they can see a drain. A few volunteers took everything out of the basement and put it in my yard and they then took up the basement floor, down to the concrete. The concrete is all cracked, the door frame is rotted and rain poured in there. I have a guy who will pick up the "junk" for $400 so I guess I'll get that done when I return home. I don't know how I'll be able to get the foundation fixed so please say a little prayer for me. I believe in prayer because HE has been with me through so much.
I am able to turn to my blog and share valuable travel adventures (which I still have so many to post & write about). I do reviews on products & other things. I like to give my opinion and share pictures on hotels I stay in. I do so much travel but I really love to travel. I wish I had my life at the beginning again because now I know what I want to do when I grow up!! (ha ha)
The little guy Rialey keeps me going. Because of our publicly funded and delivered health care, the Children's IWK Hospital with the mental heath units have provided the greatly needed care and service to help him grow up to be a normal boy. I take more pills than I care to post here but I am trying to get myself healthier by swimming and trying to eat better.
I find the Delta hotel chain have some of the most comfortable beds. Recently I travelled to New Glasgow, Nova Scotia and stayed at the Country Inn and Suites and it was absolutely wonderful! The bed was just as comfortable as the Deltas and the interrior of the Inn was so quaint. The hot breakfast they serve in the morning was wonderful and everything home made. I don't think anyone would be disappointed. I do have pictures and I will post later.
The girls who came to Kauai, Hawaii with me want to look at another adventure. I think it came about because some of them were looking at our Kauai trip and want to go back. I should have been a travel agent, because I would have loved it!
Well, I have to get up early tomorrow and travel again, actually every week up until Christmas so please keep checking my blog and write a note or two to me, as I would love to answer you.
