Halifax, a great city!

Halifax, Nova Scotia is a great place to live, visit and enjoy.  She offers lots of variety for entertainment, recreation and family fun.  The hilly streets of down town are hardy for the most ambitious person.  Our heritage is rich and long.  We have torn down many precious buildings that were there when I was a little girl, but thankfully we have a few left today to show the world what we once were.  Down town Halifax in the "old" days smell of fresh fish, with open markets, street vendors with their horse-drawn carts selling fresh macralle.  We also had the fruit and veggie man go up and down streets too selling their wares.  It is a very family time, where doors were not locked and kids ran free while careful motherly eyes watched all the kids on the block.  It's a different world out there today.

I captured some of the pictures of Halifax today with some old flare of yesteryear, so I hope you enjoy them.
