Beautiful Egypt

One of my first looks at the Pyramids
We were here in Egypt, Dec 2010. The poverty was horrendous but the people are awesome. Driving in Egypt, you would have to be out of your mind, unless you're from there. We were in a four lane road going one way (yet there were 7 cars across), when this car was coming towards us, trying to drive down the street we were driving up!! I handed out many dollars to the people on the street. The people are so nice and kind. The canal was littered with garbage and people were searching through it. The riches of Egypt has not been given to its people. I love Egypt and I'll be back and maybe the next time, I won't be so afraid of riding a camel again. Enjoy the pics.

Garbage along a canal

The small Pyramids were for the wives

I love the sun setting in this picture with the Pyramid

Kids picking up sand so we could get all the Pyramids in the picture

I just love this picture!!

This was a camel ride and it looked so cool, so I took a picture.

Another one of my first looks at the Pyramids.

Egyptians offering camel rides.

The busy streets of Cairo

Lots of uses for horse and buggy.

Another fab pic of the Sphinx & Pyramid

This is what we saw when we looked out the back of the hotel
These people were living in these conditions behind a 5 star hotel.

This was out the back of the hotel

Typical buildings

This car was going the wrong way on a one way street, coming towards us!
